Yilin Jin (b. 2003, Wenzhou) lives and works in Chicago, US/Wenzhou, China. He is currently studying photography and printing as an undergraduate at the School of the Art Institute ofChicago. With the experience of living in several cities, Yilin's art focuses on the spiritual experience of urban life, with personal history and geography. Photography books serve asa bridge between his inner thoughts and emotions and the external world. Additionally, hiswork encompasses writings and performances. 

His recent work explores the historical geography of his hometown, the migration journeys of certain plants, and comfort food for recovery from illness.
